Globally 95% of Electric cars are being sold in only 10 countries –
China, US, Japan, Canada, Norway, Germany, UK, France, Netherlands and Sweden.



GOALS BY COUNTRY
Britain: The U.K. plans to ban sales of new gasoline and diesel cars starting in 2040 as part of a bid to clean up the country's air
France: Announced that it will end sales of gas and diesel powered vehicles by 2040 to reduce global warming.
Germany : aims to move 100% to Hybrid and Electric cars by 2025.
Norway : All new passenger vehicles and vans sold in 2025 should be Electric. Already 40% of cars sold in 2017 were Electric.
Austria, China, Denmark, Ireland, Japan, Netherlands, Korea, Portugal and Spain have also set targets for Electric car sales.
